The Hot Rock Baby

Hello everybody, Kira here.
My life began with me bouncing around in my mummies tummy in a big red truck. I traveled inside mummy through africa from Zimbabwe to Cape Town, during which time I was hauled up many a great rock climb at some top class destinations, so I'm told? We said goodbye to the truck and stayed on in Cape Town where I was born five weeks later.

My next adventures on Hot rock was at six weeks old when I rejoined the truck in Chile, and shortly after had my first experience of high altitude. Boy, did I sleep a lot. I was no longer hauled up the climbs but left in a basket at the base while my folks had all the fun. To avoid further Altitude risks and tropical health hazards my parents whisked me to El Potrero Choco in Mexico to await the truck 4 months later.

There, as the only Gringita I made lots of friends and wa looked after by Nann Martha and her family while my folks enjoyed the climbing haven of Potrero. thanks to me my folks also enjoyed being invited to loads of B-B-Q's. By the time the Truck arrived in Mexico I was al ean, mean moving machine making driving days to hard, so my folks took me independently to California where we met up with the group in Yosemite then to Australia at various climbing venues. i guess all I need now is another hot rock climbing baby belay buddy. (Any takers?)
