Visas, Travel Insurance, Flights etc
A flight from London to Jordan, returning from Cape Town to London, could be had for £600 as at Jan 2009. The countries we need to get visas for are: Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, Zimbabwe. You should allow £400 for visas in total – it shouldn’t cost this much. All visas are bought at the borders or in capital cities as we go through. Travel Insurance: shop around but make sure it covers you for the activities you want to do, and is valid for a continuous trip. You should be looking at about £300 for the full expedition. |
