Visas, Travel Insurance, Flights

A flight from London to Istanbul, returning from Singapore to London, could be found for £690 as at September '07.

The countries we need to get visas for most countries we pass through on the expedition. You should allow £350 for visas in total, but hopefully it will cost less than this.

Travel Insurance: shop around but make sure it covers you for the activities you want to do, and is valid for a continuous trip. You should be looking at about £150 - 400 for the full expedition.

Note: all prices are approximate. Most people do only a fraction of these possible activities. Many other activities are available through the trip, not mentioned here. Speak to me if you have any specific ares of interest.
