Visas, Travel Insurance, Flights etc
A flight from London to Nairobi, returning from Cape Town to London, could be had for £600 as at August '06. The countries we need to get visas for are: Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Mozambique, Zimbabwe. You should allow £300 for visas in total – it shouldn’t cost this much. All visas are bought at the borders as we go through Travel Insurance: shop around but make sure it covers you for the activities you want to do, and is valid for a continuous trip. You should be looking at about £150 - 300 for the full expedition.
